The Wellington Hotel was situated on the western corner of the junction of Manchester Road and Wellington Street. I'm uncertain as to when it was built but it was certainly before 1872. It was demolished in 2010 after being closed for three years. As of April 2011 the site of the former Wellington Hotel is fenced off waste ground.
