The Oddfellows Arms was situated at 33 Ridling Lane. I'm uncertain as to when it came into being as a public house but it was built sometime before 1870. It was one of the pubs that boxer Ricky Hatton's parents used to have. When he lived here he was very young. The pub his father built a boxing gym in was the New Inn in Hattersley. The Oddfellows Arms closed sometime around 1990 and is now an islamic education centre.
