Shoulder of Mutton (Broadbottom, HYDE)

Shoulder of Mutton c.1975.

The Shoulder of Mutton was situated at the junction of Lower market Street and St Anns Street. It was built just before 1860 and was originally a beerhouse that became a fully licenced public house around 1875. It closed in the 1990s but still exists as a private residence.
