1898 map showing probable location of the Old Red Cock.
I've only encountered two references to the Old Red Cock in Hyde. One was the bankruptcy of the owner of the inn in 1897 and the other is a reference to its closure. The above location on the map is a guess as its address was given as 1 Raglan Street. The Old Red Cock closed in 1908 and appears to have been demolished sometime after 1968.
