The Flat Cap (on left) c.1970. |
The Flat Cap was situated at the corner of Ashworth Lane and John Kennedy Road. It was built in the 60s and was originally called the President. By the 1980s it had become the Flat Cap which closed in 2004. In 2005 the Flat Cap was demolished and houses now occupy the site.
