I know very little about the Kings Arms but it was certainly in existance before 1872. Its original address was 24 Hoviley and was situated on the corner of Hoviley and Lewis Street. It closed in 1947 and was demolished in 1962 to allow for road improvements. Its location today would be on the verge between the bottom of Commercial Street and the M67.
