The Crescent Inn was situated at 118 Mottram Road in Broadbottom. It was built in 1853 a couple of years after the neighbouring houses by Richard Matley the owner of Hodge Print Works. William Hodge former coachman to Mr Matley was its first licensee. The Crescent Inn closed in the 1990s and is now a private residence.
