The Bee Hive Inn was situated at 32 Commercial Street. The inn dates back to at leat 1870 when it was one half of a pair of cottages. In the 1970s (by which time it had aquired the adjoining property) it was given a facelift in the mock-Tudor style. The pub closed in 2000 and was demolished in 2005. A housing development called Wilson Brook Court now occupies the site.
