Queens Arms (Newton, HYDE)

The former Queens Arms in 2009.

The Queens Arms was situated on Victoria Street near the junction with Astley Street. It was built sometime around 1850 and was a public house by 1870. It was originally two cottages knocked into one but after it closed in the 1930s it reverted back to two dwellings. Today the building is residential flats.
