The Bankfield (Town Centre, HYDE)

The Bankfield Hotel on a turn-of-the-century postcard.

The Bankfield Hotel was built in 1889 by the now defunct Kays Atlas Brewery based in Ardwick. It became a Robinsons pub when they bought Kays. The Bankfield closed in 2004 and became flats. In 2008 the property was converted into one large private dwelling.
