New Inn (Town Centre, HYDE)

The New Inn can be dated back to at least 1830. It was situated on the corner of John Street and Tinker Street (now gone). This beer house closed in 1906 and demolished around 1960. Half of John Street still exists but the area where the New Inn  stood was cleared in the mid 70s. Its apporoximate location today would be the grass verge at the junction of New Beech Street and John Street.
