The Manchester Arms was located at 4 Great Norbury Street on the corner of bygone street called Wharf Street. The pub opened sometime around 1850. The Manchester Arms closed in 1937 and the building demolished along with Wharf Street when the area was cleared aound 1960. The site of the former Manchester Arms today would be the entrance to the side road off Great Norbury Street leading to Aldi.
